The pilot in Innland in the Gjovik region of Norway is carried out by the RESPONSE project partner Innlandstrafikk providing public
transport services in the Innland County.
The pilot started on
October 19th, 2020, but was soon canceled due to Covid-19. The pilot is now planned to relaunch on the 16h of August 2021 and run until the 1st of December 2021.
The aim of the pilot is to
create and test a framework for a demand-responsive transport (DRT) service to
improve mobility in areas or periods that currently have little or no public
transport, and by this address vulnerable groups that today have problems
reaching social activities. The pilot is also set up to be a collaboration with
the local authority Gjovik kommune.
