As part of the RESPONSE project, Karlstad University has conducted a study on vulnerable
travellers’ experiences of demand-responsive transport (DRT). The handbook provides a
guide for how public authorities can improve users’ travel experiences. It pays particular
attention to the following:
* How to reach a more in-depth understanding of the needs of vulnerable travellers.
* How to interact with them so that they will experience high-value service.
